1st Multinational Medical Lessons Learned Team meeting, 6-7 September 2016, Budapest
The NATO Centre of Excellence for Military Medicine (MILMED COE) will conduct the first meeting of of the Multinational Medical Lessons Learned Team as the 4th iteration of the Medical Lessons Learned Workshops, in Budapest Hungary on 6 - 7 September 2016 (recommended travel days 5 and 8 September 2016) which is in direct support of the MILMED COE’s POW, ACT, ACO and COMEDS.
The event is open for all NATO and Partner nations and organizations.
The most important achievement from the 3rd Medical Lessons Learned workshop “Breaking Boundaries” is that the participating nations agreed to share medical Lessons Learned related information and documents via the MILMED COE IKM Portal.
The aim of the upcoming meeting is to finalize the work done during the Workshop, prepare a final version of the team’s fundamental documents (Terms Of Reference, Field Manual of Medical Lessons Learned), as well as to initiate the process of uploading national submissions.
The representatives are kindly requested to provide submissions using the email below by 29 August 2016 for uploading to the restricted MMLLT joint collection.
If any attendees are interested in providing a presentation please provide that information by 1st of August including topic, title and time requirement. The finalized Agenda will be available on this website beforehand the meeting.
Output from the meeting will be presented to COMEDS as a capstone to the response to the Armed Forces Declaration, Wales Summit which directed NATO to enhance the sharing of information, Best Practices and Lessons Learned in order to support the health of soldiers and

Please be informed that the hotel blocked rooms for the event at the special price of 88 EUR/ single room, the booking deadline is 15th of August. Since September is still high season in Budapest we strongly recommend to book your hotel room as soon as possible.
During the first working day a 100 EUR conference fee will be collected, which covers the cost of the Ice Breaker, as well as lunches and coffee breaks during the working days.
The Ice Breaker will take place on the 5th of September, the meeting point is the lobby of Art ‘Otel at 18.30.
The meeting is unclassified, the dress code is civilian, smart casual.
