Emergency Management of Battlefield Injuries Course, March 2017
40 students from 16 countries successfully finished the last EMBI Course under the cooperation of the NATO Centre of Excellence for Military Medicine, Budapest and the French École du Val-de-Grâce, Paris. Students received high level lectures and hands on trainings from dedicated, experineced and recognized subject matter experts from 10 countries.
The Course was hosted by the HUN Military Hospital. Practical days at the Pathology Ward and the Skill Lab were supported by international lecturers and assigned experts from the University of Pécs Medical School, Department of Operational Medicine, Hungary.
The main aim of the EMBI Course is to convey the state of the art management of battlefield injuries. The 2017 yearly special focus was on „Head – Neck – Maxillofacial Injuries”.
The next EMBI Course in 2018 March will be organised in Budapest again.
