First Responder Trainer pilot training, 17-19 October 2011, Göd


„The first minutes are crucial in saving a life of a wounded soldier in the battlefield” – that was the – not new – but central message of the pilot for the First Responder Trainer (FRT) Training (COE-MED – M4 – 005) organised by the  NATO Centre of Excellence for Military Medicine (MILMED COE) from 17 to 19 October 2011 in Göd, Hungary.

Exactly on the second anniversary of the accreditation and activation of the NATO Centre of Excellence for Military Medicine (MILMED COE) by the North Atlantic Council (NAC) the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) amendment concerning the integration of the Deployment Health Surveillance Capability (DHSC) and the joining of France was formally signed by the Sponsoring Nations (SN) on 12 October 2011 in Norfolk, Virginia.

The NATO Trauma Registry Task Force (NTR TF) held a meeting on 10-11 October 2011 at the NATO Centre of Excellence for Military Medicine (MILMED COE) in Budapest.
