AIMTo provide the target audience with basic information on the NATO Medical organization, roles and responsibilities, with the emphasis on the medical staff functions within the NATO Command/Force Structure and NATO missions.
TRAINING AUDIENCE

The course is designed for all NATO and Partner Nations in (future) NATO Positions or to be deployed in medical staff or related functions at NATO or in national Ministry of Defense agencies and headquarters. To be eligible to attend this course the nominee should be military medical staff (OR6 – OF4) or civilian equivalent. Exceptions will be considered on a case by case basis by the OPR.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
LO 1 To define the Basic knowledge of NATO Command and Force structures, medical policy and doctrine and the characteristics and principles of medical support.
LO2 To recognize the basic knowledge of medical support functional areas.
PREREQUISITE
None
METHODOLOGY
The course is composed of a mixture of short presentations, works in syndicates and assessment periods.
LANGUAGE
According to criteria stated in STANAG 6001 2.2.2.2.
ATTENDANCE

Participants are expected to attend all course activities as the intense program does not allow for absences during the course. Late arrivals or early departures cannot be accepted. 

Certificate for successful completion shall not be awarded in case absences are recorded.

REGISTRATION

Mandatory online registration should be completed as soon as possible, but no later than 8 weeks prior to the course.
The required minimum for course conduct is 8 participants, and the maximum 15 participants.

COURSE FEE

For sponsoring nations: 310 Euros
For non-sponsoring nations: 450 Euros

CANCELLATION 
Cancellation of participation is only possible with a 3-week notice prior to the start date of the course. The entire course fee is due past the afore-mentioned period.
