FHP advise and support

Over the last years our work encompasses much more than just deployment health surveillance. We managed to become the Force Health Protection hub for NATO command structures and our Sponsoring Nations, dealing with all incoming questions and cooperations in the field of FHP.

Medical Information and Intelligence (MI2)

MI2 combines two main components of medical reporting: MEDINFO and MED INTEL.

MEDINFO includes any information on medical or environmental threats or medical care facilities or capabilities which has been gathered through non-intelligence channels and which has not been analysed for intelligence content.

MED INTEL is the product of the processing of medical, bio-scientific, epidemiological, environmental, and other information related to human or animal health. This intelligence, being of a specific technical nature, requires informed medical expertise during its direction and processing within the intelligence cycle.

In the NATO command structure, MI2 supports the FHP program and the planning of proper countermeasures by FHP experts to protect and maintain the health of deploying forces through all phases of the operation.

The FHPB is creating MI2 or Country Health Profiles on open sources for all NATO structures and NATO nations on request. Creating the report also relies on the support from our soldiers in mission, as any first-hand information is the most valuable one. Therefore we are always happy for people doing a RECCE or a site survey to help us with information.
