The online NATO MEDICAL EVALUATION – UNIT PREPARATION was developed to help medical modules to prepare the Medical Evaluation (MEDEVAL) process in the most efficient way and to prepare medical module for a successfully execution of the Medical Evaluation.

NATO Medical Evaluation is a part of the Medical Readiness Transformation. The goal is to enable the participating nations to provide vital capabilities to NATO operations, enhance national medical service capacities, and to achieve national, NATO and Partnership for Peace (PfP) force / partnership goals (capability targets).

TARGET AUDIENCEThe personnel of medical modules who prepares the Medical Evaluation (MEDEVAL) process.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
LO 1 Recall the doctrine and keys documents needed for the MEDEVAL

LO 2 Identify the outcomes and stakeholders
LO 3 Recognize the steps for the MEDEVAL planning process
LO 4 Utilize the Medical Evaluation Manual (MEM) as a toolbox for evaluating capabilities
LO 5 Identify the modules to be evaluated
LO 6 Recall the documentation collection according to references and timelines
