Building on the longstanding relationship between CLEAN CARE and the Vigorous Warrior exercise series, NATO MILMED COE is pleased to highlight CLEAN CARE 2027 as another key opportunity to strengthen multinational military medical cooperation and interoperability. The two exercise series share a strong focus on realistic training, multinational cooperation and the integration of medical capabilities in complex operational environments, and have benefited from close cooperation over the years.

From 14 to 27 June 2027, Suffield, Canada, will host CLEAN CARE 2027, a major NATO live exercise designed to strengthen the Alliance’s ability to provide effective medical support in a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) environment.

As an official NATO exercise under the ownership of the Committee of the Chiefs of Military Medical Services in NATO (COMEDS), CLEAN CARE is conducted biennially and brings together medical and CBRN defence units from across the Alliance. The exercise provides a unique opportunity to train, exercise, and evaluate capabilities in a challenging and realistic operational setting.

Through demanding scenarios and multinational participation, CLEAN CARE 2027 will contribute to strengthening medical readiness, improving communication and coordination, and developing the capabilities required to meet the evolving challenges of modern operations.
