FHP Event: Covid-19; A retrospective look at a turbulent time - Munich

Over 100 people from 25 different Nations registered – with at least 50 people participating in every session. 21 speakers attended the event from 7 different nations and 5 people submitted posters regarding the COVID-19 topic.

The keynote address was delivered by Dr Henry Walke, who was Incident Lead for COVID-19 for the US CDC and presented a fascinating overview of the US response to the pandemic.

The FHP Event was very well received and demonstrated the ongoing interest within NATO in sharing research and learning from the pandemic.

The FHPB hosts regular VTCs on COVID-19 and produces a weekly update that is available for anyone who interested. Please contact dhsc.admin@coemed.org if you would like to join the circulation list. The next major event is the FHP Congress which is planned for the end of 2022.
