NATO MILMED COE's biyearly Force Health Protection Hybrid Event will take place on-line and in-person in Munich on 05-07 November 2024. The title of this year's event is "One Health Approach in NATO's Force Health Protection" which has been chosen because especially after the pandemic the need of a collaborative, multisectoral, and transdisciplinary approach - working at the national, multinational and global levels - with the goal of achieveing optimal health outcomes recognizing the interconnection between people, animals, plants and their shared environment became more visible in the medical community.

Abstract Request

One Health is an approach that recognises that the health of people is closely connected to the health of animals and our shared environment. One Health is not new, but it has become more important in recent years as multiple factors continue to influence the interactions between people, animals, plants, and our environment.

The hybrid FHP Event in 2024 will primarily focus on "One Health" and we invite individuals or groups to submit an abstract describing their work or experience in this field.

We also welcome submissions on wider Force Health Protection – so if you are working on something that you feel would be beneficial to share with a wide NATO Medical audience, then please submit using the link below.

There will be an opportunity to present your work in person at the NATO Conference Room in Munich, Germany – or, if preferred, online via MS Teams. There will also be an option to share a poster with the participants instead of a presentation.
